Markesia Akinbami

CEO

Markesia Akinbami is the CEO of Ducere Construction Services, Incorporated (DCS). A lifelong entrepreneur, Markesia owned and operated several successful businesses including ACM Construction and Ducere Investment Group, Inc.

Markesia previously served as CFO for ACM Construction. She has over 10 years of experience in project management, estimating, and business development.

Markesia is active in the community, as she has several civic and philanthropic involvements including the Commerce Club and is an avid supporter of W4W International, where women in war torn countries are provided with the opportunity to become entrepreneurs.

Markesia received an Associate of Arts degree from Bauder College and has completed several courses in Construction Estimating Institute in Sarasota, FL, and is a graduate of the University of Florida Mentor Protégé Program

Robyn Foster

Architect and Senior Project Manager

Robyn Foster is a licensed Architect and Senior Project Manager at Ducere Construction Services (DCS). Robyn has operated a successful real estate and investment firm over the last 14 years. She has completed construction administration for mixed use, retail, and university projects throughout the southeast.

Robyn received her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Cum Laude from the Auburn University School of Architecture. She is a graduate of the Leadership Buckhead Program.

Robyn is active in the community and has provided architectural and management services to non-profit entities for the last 5 years in 5 states. She also participated as a member of the Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning, & Landscaping Architecture Advisory Council, 2009-2013.

Korey Akinbami

Cofounder and Chairman

Korey is a Cofounder and Chairman of Ducere Construction Services Incorporated. He attended Morehouse College, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. However, he knew he wanted more for himself, and he settled in Atlanta, Georgia and found several businesses. Within a short span of time, he had been able to operate several real estate businesses, where he applied his expertise in construction and consultancy to help build several impressive projects.

His string of successful businesses includes Synergy Properties, ACM Construction, Visual Statements, Ducere Investment Group, Ducere Financial Group and more.

Over the course of his career, Korey has served as the Chairman and President of ACM Construction, where he oversaw the development of several real estate projects. With about 15 years of experience in both commercial and residential real estate development under his belt, he has done his bit to expand his horizon significantly.

Apart from his Bachelor’s degree, he is also a graduate of the University of Florida Mentor Protégé Program.

While the company has begun its flight, Korey’s vision for Ducere Construction Services extends beyond just providing excellent service to clients. He has a passion for the public good, and he is looking into using the company as a force for community development and philanthropy.

Michelle Dutton

Healthcare Consultant

Michelle Dutton is our lead healthcare consultant. Michelle is a Registered Nurse with an MBA in project – management; Michelle brings a unique blend of compassionate patient advocacy and process optimization to her role. Her combined clinical expertise and business development experience enable her to contribute across the spectrum of healthcare projects — from planning and project management to operations and organizational change to meet the needs of healthcare providers and the people they serve.

Michelle has more than 12 years’ experience in patient care, construction management, marketing and customer service. In recent years, her work in project management for new construction at Lanier Village Estates helped identify improvements in design and efficiency of operations to maximize business goals and enhance the customer experience.

Michelle received her bachelor’s of science in nursing and MBA from Brenau University. Michelle enjoys volunteering for organizations serving elderly and special needs populations.
