Last week, the Mableton City Council voted 6-1 to establish a dedicated 4.5-mill Public Safety Special Service District — a legally restricted funding stream projected to generate roughly $21 million a year, exclusively for law enforcement, emergency management, code enforcement, and public safety technology. By law, none of it can be diverted to general city spending.
For homeowners and investors in Mableton, this is worth reading as a signal, not a cost line. Mableton is now the largest city in Cobb County, and this is what infrastructure maturity looks like: a legally protected, transparent, ring-fenced budget for public safety rather than year-to-year negotiation. Ducere Construction Services and Komar Luxe Design Build completed the full design-build renovation of the Amberton Chateau, a three-story European Grand Manor located at 5870 Vel Court, Mableton, Georgia 30126. Scope included structural reinforcement using engineered steel piers and commercial-grade concrete foundations, smart home integration, custom interior finish-out across six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and full exterior restoration. Ducere Construction Services, Charles Perry Partners (CPPI), and VoltAir Consulting Engineers hosted a private dinner at the EDGE Rooftop Bar at the Epicurean Hotel in Tampa, Florida to commemorate the "Power Partnership" built across three years of joint commercial construction work.
